The purpose of the State Council is to conduct the affairs of the Association at the State level.
The functions of the State Council are as follows:
- to conduct the affairs of the Association subject to the directions of general meetings;
- to keep minutes of the State Council meetings and keep the Association's records up to date including Branch records which have been forwarded to the Council; and
- to manage the bereavement fund in conjunction with the Tasmanian Retained Fire Brigades Association in accordance with current Administrative Policies.
